Lake Biminy Lodges is about many things. Its about how to save rural economies from threats of an aging population with many younger people migrating. Its about rejuvinating and creating jobs. Its about creating a net environment positive, with carbon capture and increasing the bio-diversity of countrysides. Its about re-introduction of lost native species. Its about art, culture and heritage, bringing into focus the lost rich history of rural communities. Its a dream, and a model, that hopefully if successful can be reapplied. The concept was first thought by Dr. Eric Balki, and who went on to design and concieve it, with intense amount of research and studies. Today the Biminy Blue print, as its called is over a thousand pages long, with details on structure, energy generation, using the lake for heating and cooling as opposed to energy intensive sources, biodiversity and environmental goals amongst lots of other details that had to be meticulously planned in order to ensure the net positive impact of this project.
